Tuesday 17 March 2026 Mobile Free School From 13 April, our Mobile Phone and Smart Device Policy will be fully enforced for all KS3 students. Mobile phones or smart devices must be switched off and kept in students' bags throughout the school day and must not be seen or heard on school grounds, including during lessons, breaks, lunchtime and trips. KS4 students will move to this expectation gradually during the remainder of the academic year, and from September 2026 the school will be a fully mobile phone-free environment for all year groups.#JamesHornsby #JamesHornsbyFamily

From CV writing workshops led by the DWP, to mock interviews with local employers, students have had the chance to experience real-life recruitment experiences and build their confidence. We've also hosted taster industry workshops, employability skills challenges, and university workshops, giving students valuable insight into the many pathways available after school. One of the highlights of the week has been welcoming back so many of our amazing alumni.
