At The James Hornsby School we have a breakfast, break and lunch offer.

We understand that what a student eats can affect their health and their ability to learn and perform in the classroom.

We want to create the best experience for our students, staff and visitors and in partnership with our catering company Caterlink, we provide nutritionally balanced food and offer imaginative menus offering the freshest, seasonal, locally sourced produce that delivers value for money and delicious on site made products by well-trained chefs. Our goal is to instill a love and understanding of fresh, healthy food at a young age that will positively influence them throughout life.

Our catering team works with the student council to tailor menus to the tastes and preferences of the students.  We introduce further interest and excitement to our menus through themed lunches ranging from holidays like Easter and Christmas to cuisines from around the world, tying these into the school curriculum whenever possible.

Meals are prepared on site using fresh ingredients daily.

Our three weekly lunch menu cycle includes:

  • meat or fish,
  • vegetarian choices,
  • salad bar,
  • variety of desserts both hot and chilled.
